What’s up bloggies? It’s Nik – I’m back. I wanted to let everyone know that I found a really awesome PC error fix that worked for me – and I know it will work for you too! Click here to see how I fixed my PC errors.
For months now I’ve been having all sorts of trouble with my desktop PC. It started bogging down – really running slow. It seemed like it took forever to boot up, and when I finally got to the desktop it still took a while to load all of the programs in the taskbar. So finally it would boot up and be “stable”. Then I would get random errors when running certain programs (dll errors) or IE would crash on me.
First of all, let me tell you two thing you NEED to do first. #1 – if you’re using IE (Internet Explorer), stop. Install Firefox and never look back. #2 – get CodeStuff Starter (just Google it; it’s easy to find) and look at all the crap that you have running when you boot up your PC. I disabled and/or deleted over half of the crap that was killing my CPU time!
OK, so that helped, but I still was running slow, and I still had errors. It was better (let’s say I went from a 3 to a 6 on a 1 to 10 scale) but still not good enough. I tried a few programs that promised to speed up my PC and fix my errors. Let me tell you from first-hand experience – beware! They are not all the same. Some work the way they say, but they don’t do much. Some just don’t work at all. I tried no less that five – yes, five – different programs before I found the BEST one. Click here to see which one is the BEST to use.
The best part about that program was that it was easy to install, easy to use, and it worked. The biggest benefit I found was that my PC was about 300% faster. Honestly. I thought I just went out and bought a brand new computer! LOL. But due to a lot of installing and uninstalling, my registry got bogged down with junk and this program cleaned it all up nice and shiny. The hard drive isn’t working as hard as it used to and I’ve not had any errors pop up in the last week or so.
Take my advice. Let me be the guinea pig. I’d hate to have you go through the same long process of testing and figuring out which program is the best. I’ve done all that. I know what works. A couple of buddies of mine weren’t really having the same level of frustration as I was, but I told them about the program anyway and they installed it. Voila! They also saw a definite improvement in their PC performance.
Hey everyone, Nik here. Someone asked me the other day about pc cheats. I guess I was not really sure what he meant, but since out of all my friends I’m the biggest techie I thought I’d help him out. When he talked about PC cheats he really meant ways to tweak your system to get better performance. There are plenty of ways to do this, but you have to be careful. I recently had a problem after installing a “performance enhancing” program that runs in the background. I’ll explain.
I recently upgraded one of my programs that I use a lot, but I started getting a runtime error with the new version. This is basically an error message that will pop up when you try to run a program, and sometimes you’ll see it as a dll error. Well anyway, I searched the forums to try to find a solution but was not having much luck with the proposed solutions. The stupid exe error wouldn’t go away!
The error message was a little strange, so I decided to do a search just on that message along with the program name. That seemed to work. Apparently this is a relatively unknown error that I only found a few people complaining about. I thought maybe I should uninstall the program to fix the internal error, but I really needed to use this program! I guess I could have looked for an alternative, but I was used to this one. And lazy. It should work and I would make it work!
Long story short – the file error was caused by a conflict with another program that I was running. This was something that was always on in the background, so that is why it never seemed to go away. The original error I mean. No PC cheats were going to fix this one. What I had to do is unload the background program running and voila everything was fixed! No more runtime error. No more dll error. No more exe error. It’s a beautiful thing.
So I guess the moral of the story is to sometimes think out of the box. When I get a runtime error I usually think it’s all caused by whatever program is getting the error. That caused me to waste 20 minutes searching for a solution that was not there. By looking at the other programs I had running and searching along those lines, I was able to determine the source of the error and resolve the conflict. I’ll probably run a registry repair now just to clean things up and to fix the registry. Can’t hurt.
So I hope that this helps you next time you get an error that no one on the entire world wide web has ever come across. It may be a related to your other programs.
Well, I’ve got some projects to catch up on so I’ll talk to everyone soon!
Nik here. Just wanted to tell everyone that fixing PC errors is not always easy.
“Wow! Big surprise, Nik!” I hear you saying. Well, not to be too obvious, but if you’ve struggled like me you know that trying to fix errors can be a real painstaking process. One time my PC kept slowing down, more and more each day it seemed. The internet which used to be fast now took forever to load.
Was this a problem with my hardware? software? something else? I really didn’t know. I tried the usual stuff – defrag, deleting old files, etc. – but nothing really worked too well. I’m telling you, nothing makes me more mad than having a problem I can’t fix!
Well, it took a few days to finally figure it out. Actually I’m not sure if what I did fixed the problem, but at least my PC is running faster now. What I’m going to do is research this a little bit. I’m going to try this quick fix on my laptop and see if it speeds that machine up at all. I’ll also try it at a friend’s house.
If this works – and I suspect it will – then I’ll let you know all about it. It’s not too difficult to do and only takes a few minutes, but instead of letting you know now and then you go through the motions and it won’t work, I’ll wait until I know it is a sure thing.
Well, I got stuff to do. See you guys in a few days.
